has managed to raise all of this money, the WP says he is shifting gears to try and broaden the little appeal he has.

Dean even went so far as to write an op-ed for the ultra right-wing WSJ editorial page. That speaks volumes. What's he trying to do, get the RNC to send him (more) money?

It's a contortion act, but Dean's entire campaign so far has been a contortion act. However, what he has been able to get away with for months on end he won't be able to get away with once the presidential campaign kicks off in September. As I've said repeatedly, it's absolutely impossible for him to win the nomination, much less the presidency.

How is he going to repair the bridges he's burned along the way? He can't, and he knows it. And that is going to bite him in the ass.
