No doubt Rove bullied Simon into quitting, as the excuse for his dropping out is to have as few Republicans running for the governorship as possible. This despite claims from Simon's people to the contrary.
I didn't know he was the son of the former U.S. Treasury Secretary and right-wing extremist who ran the Olin Foundation.
McClintock and Ueberroth plan to stay in the race no matter what.
Unless they have horses' heads dumped in their beds.
