Howard Kurtz
drags himself from his vacation to pen an eloquent obituary about the suave, urbane Peter Jennings.
After all, one cannot miss every bit of news when one has been on vacation. Kurtz has already missed the boat on Bullshit Bob.
Getting back to the death of Jennings, now it's another guessing game as to who will succeed him.
It'll probably be Charles Gibson simply because. However, the drawback is he won't get the ratings like NBC because he isn't eye candy like Brian Williams.
We shall see who gets the job.
I wonder if the betting sites will get into the act, just as they did over the successor to Pope John Paul II.
