the Titus ads are mudslinging, just try the Brian Krolicki ads.
They are much worse:
Barbara Lee Woollen accused her Republican primary opponent, state Treasurer Brian Krolicki, of dishonesty and misleading voters with a campaign ad linking a company she owns to the production of pornography.
"He should be ashamed of himself," she said. The company, Cinelease, rents lighting and other movie production equipment to filmmakers, she said.
Woollen made her comments at a news conference a day after she filed a complaint in district court accusing Krolicki and his campaign managers of slander and libel.
The commercial, which starts with an advisory that it has "been approved for a Republican audience," mimics a movie trailer. "Coming soon," it says. "The two faces of Barbara Lee Woollen." The ad, which first ran statewide July 21, says Woollen has not voted in a Republican primary for 12 years and that her company has provided equipment for adult films.
