Wesley Clark, left, must have arrived in northern Nevada on a separate airplane, for he did make it to the Douglas County "Turn Nevada Blue" dinner in Minden last night. He and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, right, were featured speakers at the dinner.

The dinner was sold out, but the distance from Reno and the price of the dinner were just too much for yours truly to attend the event.

However, the two will most likely be around the Reno-Carson City area in the coming months. (Cathleen Allison, Nevada Appeal)
