Hillary's husband will be showing up in northern Nevada for the first time in ten years.
On August 17, he will be at the Tahoe Summit, just as he was ten years ago, but Al Gore will not be there this time.
If I can get up there I sure as hell will see him. It sounds as if he may make a few stops here and there in Nevada to boost his third term chances.
Ten years ago I couldn't see him at Incline Village because I had to work that day. The librarian was out, so I had to show up to work. I was pissed.
I went to the airport to see Gore and Clinton. Both of them arrived in separate planes (Air Force One and Air Force Two, which was quite a sight, by the way). And they left in separate helicopters to Tahoe. I can't say I "saw" either one, for they were behind the building where a handful of spectators, including yours truly, were. I damned near got shot at by some jerk cop because I inadvertently went past the roped-off area.
This time I will try to get to see Clinton in person, and not as a dot in the sky.
