Campaign Notes.

John Edwards received yet another major endorsement from a union, this time the Transport Workers of America, based in New York.

It's great he is getting all of this support, but, not to beat a dead horse, it won't matter until he faces the music over his utterly idiotic health care plan remarks.

I went ahead and sent some money to the Biden and Dodd campaigns last night. I am all but through with Edwards until he repudiates his remarks.

He won't though, because he, like Bill Clinton on welfare reform, believes in the patronizing garbage that we peons out here need to be told to be "responsible," and that there is no such thing as "something for nothing," even if our goddamned tax money would be used to finance his health care plan.

Edwards should try telling THAT to Medicare recipients and see how far he gets.

I can tell you, at this rate he won't make it to the Iowa caucuses. The other Democratic candidates will destroy him over it in the next debate.
