Why am I not surprised by this?
I saw lots of little kids and a few older ones playing near the edge of the Grand Canyon last June. Not all of it is fenced off, and it would scare the living daylights out of me when people did not watch their kids or their pets.
Mather Point is on the south rim of the canyon, and it is perhaps the popular place at the national park.
