Democrats better be keeping an eye on Mike Huckabee, who will almost surely be on the GOP ticket and is one of the most talented politicians around.
I am not kidding with those remarks. He is very good, though too right-wing for me and too much of a food fascist to be palatable politically, but he has mastered the Bill Clinton campaigning style.
I wouldn't be surprised if he is friends with the former president.
Anyway, it's unlikely he will get the presidential nomination (he has little money to date), but unless the GOP is hopelessly wrongheaded, he WILL be the running mate to whoever gets the presidential nod.
