This goes back to 2000, when lapdogs like Mike Wallace were shamefully kissing McCain's ass and helping to create the myth of the "maverick" candidate or the "straight-shooter."

The media were corrupt all through the 1990s when they peddled lies about the Clintons, but nowhere were they more brazenly corrupt than they were in the election of 2000.
