Just reported a bit ago is the death of noted actor Charlton Heston, who played in many movies, including The Ten Commandments and Ben Hur. He was also very political and a lightning rod for his right-leaning views. He was head of the National Rifle Association at one point.
However, in recent years he was in bad shape, having suffered from Alzheimer's disease. Heston was 84 years old.
