Nevada First Lady Dawn Gibbons cites deceit, or should we say, more deceit, by her wayward husband.

The "Kathy" in question is Kathy Karrasch, the wife of a Reno podiatrist named C. Craig Karrasch:

In a brief interview with the Reno Gazette-Journal earlier this month, Jim Gibbons denied being romantically involved with a woman named Kathy Karrasch, who is married to a Reno podiatrist.

"We've been friends for 15 years," he said.

The interview was spurred by repeated calls and e-mails from readers who had seen Jim Gibbons and Karrasch together in public settings over the past several weeks.

According to USA People Search, which isn't always reliable, Karrasch is 49 or 50 years old depending on which link you click, five years younger than Dawn Gibbons. Karrasch's husband is 58 or 59 years old, while Jimbo is 63.

Dawn is the one who made Jim into the 'man'(misnomer) he became. She courted the press and was the power & money behind his political campaign, wasn't she? Now just look at how ungrateful he is! The bright side is she is only 54 and attractive with all that southern charm, and he is so over the hill so to speak. Dawn will survive from this divorce just as she has from her other 2 prior divorces. Who knows she may be off one of these days to DC for some fun.

I wonder if Dawn would run against her soon-to-be-ex-husband if he is crazy enough to run for re-election.

Here is something else I found about Kathy Karrasch while doing an internet search. It appears she wanted to testify regarding an assembly bill back in 1995.

No doubt there will be a lot more information about her as time goes on.

Meanwhile, state GOP big shots want to distance themselves as far away from Jimbo as possible, although there are some like State Senator Bob Beers who promise to fight back.
