Personal Garbage.

Every single time I lay down on the bed to try and watch DVDs on my portable DVD player, I fall asleep. It's almost pointless to do it. I get all relaxed, Sam curls up next to me, Tony curls up on the floor, and the next thing I know, I am completely "out." The weather is getting hotter outside, and so I didn't do anything special today.

Well, that isn't totally true. I went down to the welfare office to put my application for food stamps in. I am getting very low on funds, and there aren't any assignments available from the temp services (I have signed up with three so far) and won't likely be before the end of July. It's getting to be crunch time in this neck of the woods. I get to go in and talk to somebody Tuesday, and I have to have all of this documentation to prove I need some assistance.

Worse still is the district hasn't paid me for the seven days they owed me before I was "fired." They sent out a certified letter back in the beginning of May that they "overpaid" me which of course is bullshit. This had to do with the sick leave they claim I abused and I didn't. However, they said I could work out a "payment arrangement" with them before the end of the month. I sent a copy of this certified letter to the attorney working on my arbitration, and he forwarded it to the union since he can't handle that aspect. Well, the sons of bitches in H.R. or payroll decided to withhold my check they were supposed to pay me in May--clearly illegal, and the union was supposed to be "working on it." Ten cents says I will get no check in the mail tomorrow, and I will likely to have hire another attorney--at my own expense--to go after them. This is just awful. I have never been through so much crap in my entire life.

I don't normally write about stuff like this, but if by some chance this blog goes silent for awhile, readers will know why, i.e., I won't have the money to pay the internet or utilities.
