Martis Creek Willdlife Area (Again)

Today I wanted to go and get a Mega Millions lottery ticket, and the Gold Ranch Casino near Verdi is the closest place to pick up one. Mega Millions is almost identical to the Powerball lottery; California joined in on this lottery back in 2005.

I thought because it was so smokey in the Truckee Meadows, I would go back up near Truckee and hike the entire loop of the Martis Creek Wildlife Area trail. It is around 4 miles or so the entire way and takes a couple of hours. There were quite a few people there, as expected on a weekend. There were many, many wildflowers still out. Naturally, I took a bunch of pictures of them.
