So why aren't the media going after the "John Edwards love child" story? Why aren't the media giving him the time of day?
They never DID give Edwards the time of day; that's the point. And now that it is almost time for the Audacity of Hype to announce a running mate, it's time to get Edwards out of the way once and for all.
Not that Obama was going to pick Edwards--I suspect Bill Richardson will get the nod--but they need to get him out of the way as soon as possible.
By the way not all of the media has ignored the "story."
Interesting this clip doesn't even have his entire press conference. They didn't care about that.
He called the story "trash" and refused to address it.

Note in this clip he was talking about poverty. Nothing about the Enquirer story. But who gives a shit about poverty?
