There was a good turnout today at the annual "Old-Fashioned Picnic" benefitting the Democratic Party. It is sponsored by the Truckee Meadows Democratic Alliance (TMDA), Washoe County Democratic Party, and by Washoe County Democratic Women. I always like to attend this picnic, not just to talk to people and listen to candidates' speeches, but I like the food, which included grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, potato salad, some really good potato chips, some kind of cake which I didn't eat, and brownies. It was a great day for it, despite a strong wind occurring later on coming in from the Yosemite fire.
