The WSWS may be underestimating Governor Sarah Palin's appeal to Clinton voters in thinking her anti-abortion views would be a huge turnoff.
The trouble with that reasoning is many, many Clinton voters are jumping aboard McCain less because of the appeal of McCain (or Palin) than the fact they are totally disgusted with the Democratic Party's behavior in awarding Obama the nomination when he did not win enough pledged delegates by the end of May. It was because Obama lied, cheated, and stole his way to the nomination that has infuriated many Democrats.
It's really all about Obama.
