It's Palin.
This means that since McCain will be a one-term president, Democrats will have no choice but to nominate Hillary Clinton in 2012. If that happens, we WILL see a woman president in 2013.
Fantasy scenario is this: Obama is indicted or is forced to step down, Biden takes his place and nominates Hillary Clinton as HIS VP.

Susan,
Both Obama and this woman are unqualified for the job. The difference is Obama is at the top of the ticket.
Nobody votes for VP so it won't really make much difference. Yes she is a bad pick but remember Bush Sr won a landslide with Dan Quayle as his VP.
Liberal elites will be ridiculing her. The same liberal elites who worship at the feet of Obama who is equally inexperienced.
Don't underestimate her. Remember she will have only two major public appearances. The first will be the convention speech. She will read a speech written from the teleprompter, written by someone else. Little risk involved. The other big appearance will be the debate with Biden. She will benefit from lower expectations. All her other public appearances will be photo ops, highly controlled.
She might help McCain with blue collar voters in states like Michigan and Ohio. Yes, she is a horror. A reactionary Buchananite. But Democrats brought this on themselves. They denied Hillary the nomination. And then the Messiah did not even consider her for VP slot. His massive ego wouldn't allow it.
Oh, I think Palin is far smarter and well-spoken than the Obama supporters think she is. I believe she has a measure of charisma which is lacking in Obama. There is a reason that, despite being governor of a heavily Republican state, she has huge approval ratings. The Obama supporters are trying to compare her to Dan Quayle, and you know why that is? Quayle was good-looking, and so is Palin. By bringing up Quayle, they think they are not being sexist attacking Palin. They are actually calling her a bimbo without actually saying she is one by comparing her with Quayle.
The VP debate could be very interesting. Biden is going to have to be extremely careful going against her, because I think she will do far better than the low expectations she will have.
