Much has been made over Sarah Palin belonging to an outfit called Feminists for Life, an anti-abortion outfit which focuses primarily in reaching out to college women and trying to scare them into giving birth. Although its website mentions other issues it's interested in, the main focus is on abortion.
One shouldn't be shocked Catholics are in the group; one can tell by reading the website it has a Catholic slant, not a religious right slant. After all, it was founded in 1972, long before the religious right even made a peep in the political world. The only real opposition to legal abortion at the time was the Catholic Church.
