Bill Clinton is right when he says Sarah Palin knows how to connect with people despite her right-wing views. She has led a life which many other people have lead, is married to a blue-collar man, never went to elite colleges, and she has had her share of ups and downs.
People instinctively relate to it. I can understand her appeal, and I saw it right away. That doesn't mean I'd ever vote for her, however.
Speaking of which, John McCain is supposed to make yet another trip to Reno next Thursday. If I am not working then, I will try and attend the event, if it's accessible.
