In this very long post, it is clear the "left" is every bit as bad as the right when it comes to attacking opponents, but they will attack like crazy anybody who dares question the Messiah of Hyde Park. They were just as bad attacking the Clintons, though, to be accurate, the left didn't abuse Congress and the courts in their persecution of the them. That post, of course, focuses primarily on the treatment of Hillary Clinton.
My belief though is the Democratic Party had NO business whatsoever playing identity politics this year. Neither Clinton nor Obama should have run this year because of what was at stake. Because the party did play identity politics, we have a hell of a mess on our hands.
