The Bridge to the 13th Century

Movements by "evangelicals" to try and force their female members back into the home and worship the almighty male of the household have come in fits and spurts since the 1960s, and this "movement" called "complementarianism" is no exception. The term "complementarianism" is just another term for sexism, male supremacy, patriarchy, and other words describing the idea women are good for only two things, screwing and having babies, and they shouldn't aspire to anything else. The Bible is used as the excuse for women being second-class citizens. Of course, they claim women ARE equal, just "different" and must have different roles, which of course are inferior to men's.

The kicker of this "movement" is many of its "leaders" are themselves women who are in leadership roles and are even making money to try and push their followers back into the kitchen.

The hidden message in all of this is men are such fragile, insecure creatures they feel they must be superior over somebody. Of course this means women. And if they don't feel superior, it is up to their wives to go through contortion acts to con their wimpy or insecure husbands that they are the heads of their households. Well, screw their insecurity, I say.
