I for one think it's a great idea to allow people to be buried with their pets.

There is no good reason why not. If it's good enough to scatter human remains with their pets, there's no reason why they can't be buried with them. It has nothing to do with "dignity" and everything to do with the wishes of people.

A Washington state court of appeals says the student-teacher sex ban doesn't always apply when the student is past the age of majority.

The problem raised in this case was the law was too vague.

That may be true, but teachers who engage in it and get terminated can forget about getting teaching jobs elsewhere. Too much of a risk.
