make me thank god I am living in this country, as imperfect as it is.
Women have traditionally been treated like dirt in Afghanistan and other third world countries, but times are slowly changing.
These women, little girls actually, are being sold off into arranged marriages and being abused as a result. In this country, it would not only not be allowed, but the men would be thrown in jail.
