A Reno woman, not yours truly, won the $33 million Megabucks jackpot. She won it at the Rail City casino in Sparks.
Rachael Renee Romanick, a 38 year-old Reno resident and mother of four, won the jackpot at Terrible’s Rail City Casino on Sunday.
“I really owe it to my friend,” said Romanick. “I wanted to stay home, but he wanted to gamble at Rail City and convinced me to join him. I said to myself, ‘Why not? If you’re gonna win big, you have to play big and take a chance.’”
She had played for only ten minutes when she won.
