The biggest problem I have with Senator Reid, who is "my" senator, is the fact he is NOT forceful enough, and too goddamned conciliatory to the opposing party to be effective, to say nothing of kowtowing to the "blue dogs."
Now that we have a Democrat, or at least one who claims to be a Democrat, in the White House, it is imperative we have somebody heading the party in Congress who is much more aware of public sentiment and who isn't afraid of standing up for Democratic Party principles.
Reid, who has dealt with mobsters in his previous life before Congress, appears to come off as too much of a wuss.
