"Feminism" is in One Hell of a Shape

if the issue of sleep is considered important to the cause.

It's getting into stupidity. Here we have an economy that is in the tank, with no relief in sight thanks to an unwilling Congress and White House to really do what is needed. Women are even more negatively affected, but what do these elitist "feminists" think is important? That women with their glamorous "careers" trying to "balance" their "home and work life" or single "career" women get enough sleep.

I don't want to trivialize the importance of sleep, but there are so many more pressing matters out there.

Those of us who are unemployed often sleep too much because to be awake is to let ourselves be depressed over just how bad the economy is.

The writer does have a point about the diet industry and the pressure on women (mostly) to stay slim in order to fit into clothes which are created for preteens or teenagers.

But tell the food fascists and "doctors" who peddle the obesity drivel that. They, too, are slaves to the twisting of Calvinism that deprivation is virtue.
