Washoe County School District Has for Years
used the one-year-only teachers as a revolving door pool. It used to be the OYOs were hired to replace an incumbent teacher who was on leave or it was a grant-funded position. The jobs would end at the end of the year. Naturally anybody on a OYO is going to be laid off at the end of the year and could be eligible for hire for another OYO position.
