Few people can take that kind of shit seriously. Unfortunately, because teachers (most of whom are women) are timid sorts, they are allowing these assholes to walk all over them, and they will be pushed out of their field as a result.
I personally wonder if I should even bother applying for a teaching license in Oregon after all of the bullshit I went through in Nevada. I would only substitute teach anyway, given the filthy politics rampant in public education. Knowing districts can throw you out for no goddamned reason and lose any chance at a public pension, I say just about forget the whole thing.
I don't trust ANY school district in the country to act ethically. Unfortunately, few outside of education know the truth.
