The Inconvenient Truth Behind "Waiting for Superman," and I have watched it.
It's a low-budget film, basically made by and for teachers, but it does take issue with many of the numerous lies spouted in the media-peddled propaganda piece which fortunately didn't win any Academy Award.
The main disadvantage of the film is it is exclusively focused on the NYC school system. On the other hand, what goes on there can and has gone on in other parts of the country.
NYC public schools are Ground Zero in the war against public education.
