But thanks to frittering away Democratic support, Obama now has the excuse to claim he HAD to negotiate with the fascists because there aren't enough votes in Congress to do otherwise.
By the way, Reagan was NOT a "strong executive"; he had others who were calling the shots, and in his second term, the two Bakers (James and Howard) basically ran things.
But a little revisionism doesn't hurt. Facts are stupid things, after all.
