The LAST Thing OWS Needs

is this goddamned "identity politics" bullshit.

The issues are not environmental issues, or more significant "medical marijuana," the latter of which was mentioned time and again in the speeches down at Alba Park in Medford on Saturday. I don't give a SHIT about somebody's gripe to have access to weed. Frankly, the whole "medical marijuana" issue is a phony one to try and get the drug eventually legalized so that all dopers and dopes can get it. That's why I always voted against legalizing it for "medical purposes." I always knew it was a shit issue but a way to open the door to get it legalized wholesale. The proponents can't even be honest with voters.

And then you have the goddamned vegan/health nut crowd and their pet issues. Meanwhile, millions upon millions of people are going without or with very little to show for after spending their entire lives in the labor force.

The ONLY issue is economics, which means the issue of the distribution of wealth. It has been skewed in the past thirty years upward, to the detriment of everybody else. It has been distributed upward ON PURPOSE, as a part of government policy by both political parties, both of which remain enthralled with the ruinous University of Chicago neoliberal economic philosophy. Nothing else should EVER be brought up in these OWS protests. Nobody gives a shit about marijuana, or even the environment, when millions of lives are at stake.
