Susan! Firstly, your blog is awesome :) I like the layout and design, and it looks like you've put heaps of effort into it.
Secondly, I seriously need your help :( I took, like you, have had my blog deleted for no reason. It's actually crushing, and I've put so much hard work into it. Somehow or other, you seem to have got your blog back!!! I was ecstatic to learn this; is there any way you can advise me on the situation? Thank you, I'm extremely grateful for this. I'm heartbroken at the loss of my blog, and I'm sick to death of vague, impractical 'advice' that Blogger's support system involves.

You have to be persistent with Google to get the blog back. It took four months before I saw it return. I had to go to WordPress during that time and blog. But then when I returned to the Blogger site, BlogHer stopped paying me for the ads, so I had to contact THEM to reinstate me.
I think what happened in my case is my old Gmail account was infected with phish or whatever it was called, and I kept flagging for spam. I think Google had decided to take down the site until the problem was cleared up. I don't have problems with spam on the old Gmail anymore, but I have a second Gmail account that I use instead. My old account is largely for my being able to use Blogger.
The dog in my profile is Tony, who passed away in August of 2010 at the age of 14. I have another Lhasa apso who is about as cute and a chihuahua.

Thanks so much for the feedback. I'd do this blog for a living if I ever had the readership, but I have never been part of the "kool kidz" and was able to do it. I have had this blog since December of 2002.
