Gone to the Dogs


Ch Palacegarden Malachy, or simply Malachy, won Best in Show in the 136th annual Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

He was the first Pekingese to win the title since 1990.

Malachy was in the finals last year and was favored to win this year's competition.

The biggest surprise of the show was a heavily-favored black cocker spaniel, Beckham, failed to win the sporting group. This paved the way for Malachy to win.
