It's a LOT More Than 4 Million

who are unemployed for longer than a year. That's not including all of us out here who are UNDERemployed and can't get anything, part-time or full-time, that is stable.

I am probably going to have to leave the Rogue Valley at some point because of lack of opportunities, but it is almost impossible to save the money to leave.

That's because there aren't enough jobs to go around. Laying the blame of high unemployment on the worker does nothing to solve it because our politicians absolutely refuse to spike up demand. We have a problem with demand, and that's why there are few jobs to be had.

Good episode, by the way, although a program like Platform to Employment doesn't address the big issue.

Washington is the problem.
