60 Minutes has always been a beacon for public school trashing and peddling "reform" garbage, so this report by an M.D., not a teacher, is no surprise:
I also understand there are some content errors in materials of the Khan "Academy," so what good is it?
Cynical types would love to peddle this on public schools to get rid of them altogether. Anything with Gates backing you KNOW is bad.
If I were to form my own academy, I would know a hell of a lot better than calling it "khan."
A critique is here. An outfit peddling bunch of videos is nothing new in education; it is just that it is getting a lot of big money backing by the usual suspects who want to destroy public education.
