I Don't Know How Obama Can Be So Brazen

to think anybody is going to swallow the notion the economy is doing any better. There are still 13 MILLION people who are unemployed, and there are nowhere near the number of jobs, let alone jobs that are at least full time with benefits, needed to absorb the number.

The US private-sector job total in 2012 remains at or below the level of 2000, a fact that demonstrates the failure of American capitalism over a protracted period and under both Republican and Democratic presidents. The BLS report found that a staggering 23.5 million people were either unemployed or underemployed—working part-time when they wanted full-time work.

Pathetic. For those of us over 50, it is almost impossible to bounce back into the labor force.

For me, it is unlikely I will EVER work in full time work again thanks to that c*** who fired me almost four years ago. I was 53 and "retired" LONG before I could afford to do it.

Although it is hardly just punishment, the former chief officer of human resources was demoted this year, the first principal who retaliated against me by writing me up was himself demoted over an unrelated matter mentioned on this blog, and the apparently the district's general counsel who with the aforementioned HR officer engineered my dismissal is leaving the district (I don't believe the district is higher for a third attorney for its legal division). Three down, and two to go. They all at least are being paid. I am still living in grinding poverty with NO end in sight.
