For-Profit Dental Chains
Another outrageous trend is the rise of for-profit dental chains serving the poor who cannot get dental care if they are on Medicaid or don't have any insurance at all. About one in three, and I suspect that is an understatement, cannot afford dental care in this country, including yours truly whose teeth are in bad shape. PBS's Frontline last night had a documentary about this. Part one:
