people should ignore them, but they never do. I really couldn't care less what religious people think or what atheists think.
The real issues facing Americans are so profound. Those issues are the economy, jobs, and privatization of public services. These are issues that in theory could unite people from all political viewpoints, but instead our politicians decide to focus on those stupid "social issues" like abortion, gay marriage, marijuana legalization, immigration, and whatever other stupid thing they come up with in order to create division and divert attention while the neolibs and their henchmen and henchwomen continue to pick their pockets.
