Any television program that seeks to "inform" people about education while NOT including people who have firsthand knowledge of the system, i.e., teachers, administrators, education professors, is not engaging in information but is instead engaging in propaganda.
So the television stays shut off in my neck of the woods.
It is long overdue for there to be a NATIONAL grassroots campaign to fight back against "reform," which includes fighting back against fake Democrats Obama and Duncan, and utilize the courts and ballot box to ban charters and all other schemes which seek to destroy human lives for profit.
Meanwhile, state and local Democratic Party politicians are being bought off by the privatization crowd, if the party itself hasn't been infiltrated outright by Republicans.
