Another Turkey Is Missing, and It Isn't Even Thanksgiving

Washoe County School District is on a roll this year: One principal left or was fired when he failed to disclose a conviction for embezzlement, another one is in court fighting a parent who was making threats against him and his staff over her son, and now we have yet another principal, one I have mentioned on this site previously, who is now on administrative leave from the district and has been since February:

Kara White, principal at Lemmon Valley Elementary School, is on administrative leave according to the Washoe County School District.

White is another in what is starting to feel like a trend in missing Washoe County School District principals.

This one was named in a lawsuit a couple of years ago when the suit said she tried to railroad a teacher out of her career by falsely accusing her of committing testing violations, which can cause there to be action taken on a teacher's license. The suit sought an injunction against the district from continuing with administrative proceedings while at the same time violating this teacher's due process rights to examine student witnesses and so forth. The dispute was resolved one way or the other last March.

This principal had a history of railroading teachers out of jobs if she didn't like them, according to the suit.
