Next week both sides in the Pedro Martinez lawsuit against the district and the Board of Trustees will be going to mediation to try and settle the embarrassing episode.
The district is offering a piddling $25,000. I wouldn't be surprised if Martinez takes the deal although it may smell of a trap.
I'd be insisting the five board members who are not resigning now resign before any agreement is signed.
