It was stupid enough for U.S. News and World Report to "rank" colleges and universities in some kind of popularity contest, but the idea of "ranking" public schools while ignoring the demographics is insane.
Not that the "reformers" give a shit about the "quality" of various public schools. They want to get rid of public education for purely ideological reasons.
Nevada is notorious for having transient populations. Staff can do nothing to improve the situation. Kids who get moved around and around aren't going to do as well as kids who stay put. Period.
