People miss the point about why Bernie Sanders is in the race. It isn't to win the nomination but to raise issues that wouldn't otherwise get any play in the media.
He and Martin O'Malley are there to keep Hillary Clinton focused and "honest" on the issues. I have no doubt at this point Clinton will be the 45th president of the United States.
I am still going to give money to Sanders and O'Malley because they hold beliefs most closely to my own. If Clinton picks a Democrat and not a neoliberal sack of shit (Cuomo, Booker) as running mate, I will vote for her in November.
If you are a longtime reader of this blog, you will remember I was a Clinton delegate at the Nevada Democratic convention back in 2008.
