You expect US, the majority of those who voted, to give a SHIT about your plight after you have voted the wrong way time after time, year after year, decade after decade? Give me a fucking break.
And some of those goddamned rust belt states put in "right-to-work," thus eroding living standards even more. You stupid white dudes VOTED for these politicians instituting these laws. We Democrats are supposed to fucking CARE about you because you entitled bastards are hurting, can't cut it in retraining for jobs, or you can't go camping or RV-ing like you used to do with your wives or girlfriends? Thirty-five years of wrongheaded voting, and you STILL can't get it right? You want sympathy because you are a racist, sexist, entitled white dude?
Give me a fucking break.
There is NO excuse voting for GOP if you are not rich. None.
Of course, DEMOCRATS are to blame because these MORONS refuse to listen to reason. Put the blame everywhere instead of where it belongs.
These people are willfully STUPID. You can't fix them.

You Can't Fix Stupid
The blue-collar dudes and their wives who voted for this union-busting shitbag and his union-hating party deserve everything they get. Unfortunately, these morons drag the rest of us down with them.
They are racist, sexist assholes who are thirty-five years too late to the party.
They have been brainwashed for decades, ever since Nixon exploited the "hard hats" by using racist code. These morons constantly bitch about the blacks or the "illegals" or the women "stealing" "their" jobs away from them, all the while they vote for the very people who put through ruinous trade agreements and vote for the destruction of living standards in the country.
I am supposed to have "compassion" for these idiots? Years and years ago I did, but now, nearly two decades into the 21st century, it is long past due to not give a shit about them anymore.
These jackasses keep voting the wrong way. Fuck them all. Cut them loose. Racism and sexism have no place in the 21st century. They never did but certainly not now.

A common theme that’s being tossed around is that Trump’s election was the white working class’ chance way to say “F**k you!” to the political elites who forgot about them, sucked up their factory jobs and left them out to dry. I take issue with this for a number of reasons.
The first and most obvious reason is this: How do you buck a system ruled by elites by electing a billionaire who was born rich, employed the Mexicans he blamed for taking jobs away and could never possibly understand someone else’s struggle? Next, I don’t fully understand the term “hard-working whites.” I come from the blackest community in one of the blackest cities, and I don’t know how not to have 10 jobs. Everybody I know has 10 jobs, even the infants. Black people, Asians and Mexicans alike work their asses off, so why is the “hard-working white” class even a voting bloc?
These jackasses keep voting the wrong way. Fuck them all. Cut them loose. Racism and sexism have no place in the 21st century. They never did but certainly not now.
Sexism Plays a Large Part--the Major Part--With These Trump Dudes
Putting aside the main reason Trump is even remotely close to the White House--the media pimping for him nonstop for months--sexism is the driving force in this farce of an election:
They are fucking MRA types, and more than a few are totally addled with porn.
The resentment is the same type that these morons used against affirmative action.
These idiots are so entitled, they actually think they got jobs because on "merit" rather than the fact they had white skin and dicks. They think they are entitled to make more money--especially compared to women--because they have "families to support" (never mind the wife is usually working so these families can enjoy comfortable lifestyles that they wouldn't have otherwise). The minute the government does the most modest thing to level the playing field for others to at least have a shot at the American dream, these assholes scream bloody murder.
The same mindset is at work regarding illegal immigration. Never mind this exists because of EMPLOYERS HIRING THEM.
There is no fixing these dudes. There is no way to reach them. They have been conditioned from childhood to believe they are better than everybody else because they are white dudes. They have voted the wrong way for decades.
And I am supposed to have sympathy for these jackasses who lost their jobs?
I say to hell with them. Cut them loose and let them wither.
No one factor can fully explain Trump’s victory. America’s out-of-control political polarization means that many people would vote for Trump no matter what he did, just because he had “Republican” next to his name on the ballot. Trump’s strong support among whites demonstrates how racial resentment played into his victory. His dominance in rural areas suggests a deep anxiety over not just economic security, but the loss of an entire way of life. And the role of voters who support authoritarianism can’t be ignored.
At the same time, the role of hostility toward women hasn’t been discussed nearly enough. The more “hostile sexist” attitudes voters held, according to research by political scientists Carly Wayne, Nicholas Valentino, and Marzia Oceno, the more likely they were to vote for Trump. Hostility to women predicted voters’ support for Trump just as strongly as racial resentment, and even more strongly than affinity for authoritarianism.

Of Course Sexism Has A Lot To Do With It
There is no point in denying it played a huge role in the media coverage of the campaign and the main role in the stupid white dudes' votes for Donald Trump.
Lynn Sherr is a respected broadcast journalist who has to despair of what went down in this campaign.
Many on the left, many being sexist white dudes themselves, deny the obvious. They want to blame the Democratic Party for not throwing the changing demographics of this country under the bus.
These entitled white dudes were not going to vote Democratic anyway because they fell sucker to a DEMAGOGUE who has no intention of improving their standard of living. They hate women and minorities and Trump pandered to that hatred. They are basically stupid and thirty years too late to do anything about reversing the course of the economy. A lot of them are MRA types that despise women. The younger guys especially have had their brains addled with online porn and have a similar screwed-up attitude toward more than half of the human race.
The Sanders/Michael Moore types continue to engage in the fantasy these white dudes can be reasoned with. They can't. They can't be fixed because most of them are not intelligent and cannot be reasoned with. They have to literally lose everything they have got and be kicked in the head to have sense knocked in them, and even then, it is doubtful it would work.
They have been RAISED by sexist, racist parents, and it is difficult if not impossible for them to overcome that upbringing.

No, Thomas Frank, You Are Wrong
Remember that Hillary Clinton won the most votes in this election. Thomas Frank has made lots of money giving whiny little analyses bashing Democrats. Here he is refusing to face the truth of why Trump got elected, at least by the EC vote.
Liberals didn't have anything to do with it, you shithead.
This was the first election in history where a major news organization openly pimped for one candidate to the exclusion of others and literally created this deranged or motley mob of Trump supporters. One person, and only one person, is responsible for creating this CANCER on the body politic, and that is Jeff Zucker, head of CNN.
So the article is total bullshit. The blame rests squarely on the media, specifically with Jeff Zucker of CNN and longtime buddy of Donald Trump's since the days when Zucker headed NBC when Trump had his gig "The Apprentice." You only had to watch CNN's fawning coverage of Trump, 24/7, month after month, to know this is fact. The conflict of interest between Zucker and this Pat Paulsen wannabe was never disclosed until very late in the primaries. By then, the damage was done because then there was a big cult following of this dipshit who should never have made it past the Iowa straw poll. You have some 59 million people who voted for this nutcase, which is why I call these people ignorant, and willfully ignorant. But it was the media that started this. The media had no ethical right to push any candidate, let alone one to the exclusion of all others. It is not journalism but propaganda. If Adolf Hitler had had CNN, he would have taken over the world.
Other media outlets also were involved, but it all started with Jeff Zucker. The others followed suit when they saw that Zucker got ratings and money for 24/7 coverage. This despite the fact Zucker was undermining the democratic process by CNN not being a news organization but a propaganda outfit. I followed the GOP campaign throughout and even closer than the Dems since the outcome there was a foregone conclusion. It just horrified me what CNN was doing. Every single time I turned on the TV, there was Trump's mug doing some interview or he was giving a speech repeating the same crap he is still repeating. There was NO critical analysis of Trump at all during the early part of the campaign. CNN was the first and biggest offender. It created this deranged mob of Trump supporters. If it were up to me, Jeff Zucker would be arrested and charged with treason against the United States.

It Was a Nice Run While It Lasted
The country is dead.
It appears we have a somewhat similar situation to election 2000, where the Democrat actually won the popular vote, but the p.v. loser will instead take office. Donald Trump may not even make it to inauguration because of the Trump University charges and other scandals too numerous to mention. He sure as hell isn't bringing the jobs back. The GOP will most likely remove him when he is proven to be too much of a liability. Then we get Pence. All hell will break loose then.
WHERE THE FUCK WERE THESE IDIOT WHITE MALES WHEN RONALD REAGAN GUTTED UNIONS AND STARTED SHIPPING JOBS OVERSEAS? WHERE THE FUCK WERE THEY? Answer: They were busy voting for Reagan, who promised them the sky.
Donald Trump just says a bunch of bullshit and people believe it because they WANT to. Of course, traitor Jeff Zucker of CNN was instrumental in foisting this cancer upon the American public. I shouldn't say this, but Zucker should be arrested, tried, and shot for treason against the United States. His so-called "news network" was nothing more than the American version of Pravda during this campaign.
It is going to be a very rough ride for the next few years.
I may have said it on this blog a few years ago, when the economy tanked, that the U.S. might have only a decade left. I didn't realize how right I was.
By the way, Donald Trump isn't so much Adolf Hitler as he is Idi Amin, who was an insane individual who "ruled" Uganda for many years.
I blogged this post years ago about the late Ugandan dictator:

I blogged this post years ago about the late Ugandan dictator:
I Found It!
This has nothing to do with Bill Bright or his Campus Crusade for Christ. Instead, I found the article about Idi Amin Dada I referred to in the post below.
It was Time, March 7, 1977, and the title was "Amin: The Wild Man of Africa." I remembered the way it was written, very well-written and pretty cutting against the murderous dictator.
A few excerpts, saving the best for last:
"Of all the places of Africa, none so epitomizes the beauty and mystery of the continent as Uganda. The poet's eye--or the camera's--rarely grasps its lyrical magic...
"Only one shadow mars this idyllic land: that of Uganda's porcine President-for-Life, Field Marshal Idi Amin Dada, 49, a man of mercurial personality, who in a short six years has caught the world's attention with his unpredictable and often deadly antics. He is killer and clown, big-hearted buffoon and strutting martinet. He can be as playful as a kitten or as lethal as a lion. He stands 6 ft. 4 in. tall and carries a massive bulk of nearly 300 lbs. and within that girth courses the unharnessed ego of a small child, a craze for attention and reverence. Last week Idi Amin was playing to the hilt the role he loves best: he was standing full-glare in the spotlight, forcing a major power into a state of consternation. He had done it before and in all probability will do it again...
"That the Americans would be safe from harm was widely accepted. Amin kills his own countrymen, rarely foreigners. Still, the man's long history of abnormal behavior worried Washington. 'Goddammit,' said one [Carter] White House adviser, 'why couldn't our first crisis have been a more dignified one?'"
Indeed. Now here is the part I hinted at earlier. It's amazing how one section can take hold in the mind 26 years after reading it:
"The worst fate is to be taken in by Amin's personal goon squad, the oddly named State Research Bureau (S.R.B.), a sadistic crew of sports-shirted killers who wear dark glasses even at night and seem to have carte blanche to kill. They will flag down a car in broad daylight in downtown Kampala and drag the terrified driver out and lock him in the car trunk, then drive the car away, all in full view of passive onlookers who know better than to protest or intervene. Not a single person bundled off in this manner is seen alive again. A day or two later, the body, badly bloated and mutilated by fish and crocodiles, turns up floating in the Nile or Lake Victoria. Some of the corpses are dragged up on shore by hyenas and further savaged.
"The prevailing sense of horror is perhaps best described by the acrocryphal tale of a freezer in Amin's house that contains the heads of his most distinguished victims [giving a whole new meaning to the phrase "head of state"], including the former Chief Justice: from time to time, the story goes, Amin walks over to the freezer to lecture his frozen audiences about the evils of their ways..." (excerpts pages 18-24)
It Ain't "Free Speech"
You are NOT--repeat NOT--allowed to bring signs into a general election candidate event. I have been to numerous general election events/rallies, and this was the rule throughout regardless of the candidate.
The commotion is the reason outside signs are NOT allowed in.
Idiot then whines about his "free speech" rights. No, jackass, bringing a sign in is like crying "fire" in a crowded theater.
I have seen too many assassination and near-assassination attempts in my lifetime to have sympathy for an IDIOT who could have simply protested outside the venue, like other people do all the time a when candidate makes an appearance. You are NOT--repeat NOT--allowed to bring signs into a general election candidate event. Crites, a registered Republican, said he holds no ill will toward the Secret Service or police, who were just doing their job, and that his only intention was to show his displeasure with his party's nominee.
"I just went with sign that said 'Republicans Against Trump,’" he said. "It’s a sign that you can find online. I held up the sign and initially people around me were just booing me telling me to get out of there. Then a couple of these guys tried grabbing the sign out of my hands."

His demeanor is extremely off-putting.

The October Surprise
Who needs Julian Assange when you have William Weld?
Weld, who is on the Libertarian Party ticket with dipshit extraordinaire Gary "Aleppo" Johnson, has all but quit the ticket in his quest to prevent Donald Trump from being president.
It isn't an endorsement of Hillary Clinton, mind you, but the implication is hard to miss.
If Weld had run as a third-party candidate for president, I would have been worried about Clinton getting elected.
Update: Now Weld has denied it.
He'd be better off confirming it. Johnson is a bigger dipshit than Trump.

As some presumably small portion of Americans sat through a dull debate between the Republican and Democratic vice-presidential nominees on Tuesday night, a far more interesting drama was unfolding within the Libertarian ticket. VP candidate Bill Weld told the Boston Globe that he plans to focus exclusively on attacking Donald Trump for the remainder of the campaign — essentially admitting that running mate Gary Johnson can not become president.
Trump has Weld’s “full attention,” he explained, because his agenda is so terrible it’s “in a class by itself.” “I think Mr. Trump’s proposals in the foreign policy area, including nuclear proliferation, tariffs, and free trade, would be so hurtful, domestically and in the world, that he has my full attention,” Weld said.
Apparently he avoided acknowledging that his new mission amounts to working to make Hillary Clinton president. He pointed out that he disagrees with Clinton on fiscal and military issues, though last week on MSNBC he said he’s “not sure anybody is more qualified than Hillary Clinton to be president of the United States.”

My view: I give the edge to Mike Pence even though he lied his ass off and Kaine has command of the facts. Kaine did better towards the end when he talked about Russia and about the Clinton and Trump foundations. It is just Pence is a lot more polished and low key, while Kaine just would not shut up. He sounds like Donald Trump, and that is not a good thing. Thank God we are not actually voting for the VPs here, so this debate will have no effect on the polls.
Pence knows he is on a losing ticket, but I think this slick performance might be the starting point of a presidential run in 2020.
Kaine is not Joe Biden. Biden can interrupt, but he is a lot smarter person than Kaine. He is not abrasive.
Kaine may have won on the substance, but Pence won on the style.

The End
Giuliani can put lipstick on a pig, but it doesn't matter. The revelations about Donald Trump's taxes, and the likelihood he hasn't paid any income tax in the past 18 years because he was such a horrid businessman, end his presidential campaign once and for all.
Trump has tried to divert attention from the tax story, but it hasn't worked. He is toast. Even the Wikileaks promise of providing ammunition that would "destroy Clinton's presidential bid" has been put on ice, probably for good. Unless, of course, they can polish up the forgeries before November 8.
Yes, there is another five weeks to go, but the NYT's article basically ended Trump's flailing campaign.
He never had a realistic chance anyway. The GOP, as I mentioned many times previously, wrote this presidential election off months ago.
For the Democrats, the remainder of the campaign is a mopping-up operation. The real contest is to see how many states Clinton will win in November.
It should be close to all of them, ala FDR beating Alf Landon in 1936. It should be a sea of blue, from Alaska to Florida, from California to Maine. Whether it will be remains to be seen. I just can't see it being even remotely close now.
The big contest now is over control of both houses of Congress.
This Says It All
Last night's debate was a total bloodbath, a farce. It illustrated WHY somebody off the street should NEVER, EVER be a major party nominee for president. You HAVE to have policy knowledge to even BEGIN to get up there on national television and debate, much less be president.
In a sane world, Trump would not carry a single state in the general election. I am not so sure he won't lose like Alf Landon at the rate things are going.
The ONLY reason he would carry any states at all is because HRC is a woman. It is less she is a Clinton with all of the media lies about her. It is simply because she is female.

Newspaper Endorsements
Hillary Clinton has racked up a couple of major newspaper endorsements:
The Los Angeles Times is impressed with her qualifications:
For the first time in a century, the Cincinnati Enquirer has endorsed a Democrat:
Despite 25 years of Clinton-trashing, the New York Times endorses Hillary Clinton anyway:
It's really a no-brainer who should be president.
Meanwhile, the Tulsa World last month refused to endorse anybody, saying there wasn't anybody the editors thought was appealing.
The Los Angeles Times is impressed with her qualifications:
American voters have a clear choice on Nov. 8. We can elect an experienced, thoughtful and deeply knowledgeable public servant or a thin-skinned demagogue who is unqualified and unsuited to be president.
Donald J. Trump, a billionaire businessman and television personality, is the latter. He has never held elected office and has shown himself temperamentally unfit to do so. He has run a divisive, belligerent, dishonest campaign, repeatedly aligning himself with racists, strongmen and thugs while maligning or dismissing large segments of the American public. Electing Trump could be catastrophic for the nation.
By contrast, Hillary Clinton is one of the best prepared candidates to seek the presidency in many years. As a first lady, a Democratic senator from New York and secretary of State in President Obama’s first term, she immersed herself in the details of government, which is why her positions on the issues today are infinitely better thought-out than those of her opponent.
For the first time in a century, the Cincinnati Enquirer has endorsed a Democrat:
Clinton is a known commodity with a proven track record of governing. As senator of New York, she earned respect in Congress by working across the aisle and crafting bills with conservative lawmakers. She helped 9/11 first responders get the care they needed after suffering health effects from their time at Ground Zero, and helped expand health care and family leave for military families. Clinton has spent more than 40 years fighting for women's and children's rights. As first lady, she unsuccessfully fought for universal health care but helped to create the Children's Health Insurance Program that provides health care to more than 8 million kids today. She has been a proponent of closing the gender wage gap and has stood up for LGBT rights domestically and internationally, including advocating for marriage equality.
Trump is a clear and present danger to our country. He has no history of governance that should engender any confidence from voters. Trump has no foreign policy experience, and the fact that he doesn't recognize it – instead insisting that, "I know more about ISIS than the generals do" – is even more troubling. His wild threats to blow Iranian ships out of the water if they make rude gestures at U.S. ships is just the type of reckless, cowboy diplomacy Americans should fear from a Trump presidency. Clinton has been criticized as being hawkish but has shown a measured approach to the world's problems. Do we really want someone in charge of our military and nuclear codes who has an impulse control problem? The fact that so many top military and national security officials are not supporting Trump speaks volumes.
Despite 25 years of Clinton-trashing, the New York Times endorses Hillary Clinton anyway:
In any normal election year, we’d compare the two presidential candidates side by side on the issues. But this is not a normal election year. A comparison like that would be an empty exercise in a race where one candidate — our choice, Hillary Clinton — has a record of service and a raft of pragmatic ideas, and the other, Donald Trump, discloses nothing concrete about himself or his plans while promising the moon and offering the stars on layaway. (We will explain in a subsequent editorial why we believe Mr. Trump to be the worst nominee put forward by a major party in modern American history.)
But this endorsement would also be an empty exercise if it merely affirmed the choice of Clinton supporters. We’re aiming instead to persuade those of you who are hesitating to vote for Mrs. Clinton — because you are reluctant to vote for a Democrat, or for another Clinton, or for a candidate who might appear, on the surface, not to offer change from an establishment that seems indifferent and a political system that seems broken.
Running down the other guy won’t suffice to make that argument. The best case for Hillary Clinton cannot be, and is not, that she isn’t Donald Trump.
The best case is, instead, about the challenges this country faces, and Mrs. Clinton’s capacity to rise to them.
It's really a no-brainer who should be president.
Meanwhile, the Tulsa World last month refused to endorse anybody, saying there wasn't anybody the editors thought was appealing.
As If We Didn't Know Why the Double Standard
2. In it, I argue that Trump isn't Clinton main adversary. It's a media whose coverage is governed by implicit & pernicious double standard.

Of course the broadcast media, in the tank for Trump, will gloss over the obvious problems while focusing on the latest irrelevant nonsense against Hillary Clinton.
Throughout this campaign, the Trump Organization, which pumps potentially hundreds of millions of dollars into the Trump family’s bank accounts each year, has been largely ignored. As a private enterprise, its businesses, partners and investors are hidden from public view, even though they are the very people who could be enriched by—or will further enrich—Trump and his family if he wins the presidency.
A close examination by Newsweek of the Trump Organization, including confidential interviews with business executives and some of its international partners, reveals an enterprise with deep ties to global financiers, foreign politicians and even criminals, although there is no evidence the Trump Organization has engaged in any illegal activities. It also reveals a web of contractual entanglements that could not be just canceled. If Trump moves into the White House and his family continues to receive any benefit from the company, during or even after his presidency, almost every foreign policy decision he makes will raise serious conflicts of interest and ethical quagmires.
Of course the broadcast media, in the tank for Trump, will gloss over the obvious problems while focusing on the latest irrelevant nonsense against Hillary Clinton.
Trump Goes Full Hitler
Despite making a trip to Mexico, upon return Trump gave an even worse speech than usual guaranteeing virtually no person of color will vote for him.
The Latino vote should approximate the level of approval African Americans give to the Hair Apparent.
The speech, if you can stomach it. It was like a Hitler rally:

Hillary Clinton Reno Speech
Wish I was there at TMCC where Hillary Clinton just gave a speech reaming Trump and the so-called "alt right" supporters:
Speech starts at around 35:00.
