Monday afternoon I almost met my maker. When I was walking down the street of the mobile home park where I live with my brother, I heard a crackling sound, and then suddenly half of a tree came crashing down on me. Fortunately, I was grazed lightly with some tree branches and leaves. If I had stayed on the sidewalk, I probably would have been knocked out cold.
