To be accurate, for many years before the USSC Roe v. Wade, the only religious group to oppose the legalization of abortion in the United States was the Catholic Church.  In the years immediately after the decision, it was still just the Catholic church.  The fundies--the religious right, misnamed "evangelicals"--were very late to the party.  This video talks about the religious right's exploitation of the issue for political power.

Something the fuck is wrong with this country.  Now there is another mass shooting, this one in Dayton, Ohio, with 9 dead and at least 27 others wounded.

The shooter, identified as Connor Betts, was shot dead by police.

A woman wrongly imprisoned for killing her rapist will be released.

I hope this woman wins her suit.  This is a liability issue.

Does it really matter that a woman's sex life declines as she gets older?  For that matter, a man's does as well.  It is natural since the primary purpose of sex is reproduction.  The big problem is with our culture which tries to shame anybody who doesn't put sex front and center until nursing home age or whatever the fuck.
