It might be a bit too soon to confer sainthood on the late James Caan.
I knew he had some misogynist tendencies, but I forgot the extent of them.
It is a sad coincidence that at least two women he was involved with, both Playboy models, died prematurely. He wasn't involved in their deaths, obviously. As mentioned in my post about him, second wife Sheila Ryan, who once dated Elvis, died of heart issues in 2012. Another woman, Connie Kreski, died aged only 48 in 1995 of either lung cancer or heart issues depending on the source. Kreski was known as a close friend of doomed actress Sharon Tate and looked a bit like her.
In other words, Caan didn't have such a great track record where women were concerned.
