As a pre-emptive move, Congress passed the "Respect Marriage Act," which I say deserves no respect or special privileges.  Anyway, since the USSC has spoken on same-sex marriage, it is not likely to mean much.

Meanwhile, women's rights are still not codified in the Constitution, and heaven forbid abortion rights be preserved by Congress.

Police were finally able to identify a small boy who was murdered after 65 years.  The case was known as the "Boy in the Box" case.

His name has been made public..  His name was Joseph Augustus Zarelli.

Detectives have located the family and know who the boy's now-deceased parents are but stopped short of disclosing who they believe is responsible for the youngster's death, authorities said.

The child lived in West Philadelphia, near Market and 61st Streets, according to Philadelphia police Capt. Jason Smith. The case remains open and police still hope to someday pin the murder on a suspect — but Smith tamped down those expectations.
