Economic and safety concerns are among the reasons the National Air Races, long held in Reno, Nevada, will no longer take place there and will move to another location. This year will be the final year of the event in that location.
For many years it was the largest event in northern Nevada. I never went there when I lived in the area, but it was a major deal.
